Industrial Gas Turbines and Piston Engines

Building on its aerospace gas turbine engine testing experience, CEL designs and manufactures test equipment and systems for gas turbine and piston (diesel / gasoline) engines used for industrial applications in the propulsion or electrical power generation  sectors.

As an example, CEL has assisted Bombardier Transportation in the gas turbine engine selection process for their American Flyer locomotive program. A scaled exhaust collector venturi system was designed and assemble to validate the mathematical model.
